European Radiation Dosimetry Group EURADOS ist ein Netzwerk, in dem sich in verschiedenen Arbeitsgruppen Fachleute der Dosimetrie ionisierender Strahlung insbesondere zu Fragen der Forschung austauschen, Ziele von EURADOS sind:
- die Weiterentwicklung des wissenschaftlichen Verständnisses der Dosimetrie ionisierender Strahlung,
- die technischen Entwicklungen im Bereich Methoden und Instrumentierung für die Dosimetrie zu fördern und deren Einsatz in der Routine zu unterstützen und
- die Anwendungen der Dosimetrie innerhalb der EU zu harmonisieren und ihre Konformität zur internationalen Praxis sicherzustellen.
- Diese Definition wurde zuletzt in der 330. Sitzung der SSK am 29./30. Januar 2024 geprüft.
